Digital photograph, Kosovo (1999).

Prime Minister Tony Blair was the political driving force behind the North Atlantic Treaty Oranisation's (NATO) campaign that ousted Serbian forces from Kosovo and established a United Nations protectorate over the territory. He is pictured here meeting senior British Army officers, including Lieutenant-General Sir Mike Jackson, commander of KFOR, NATO's peace-implementation force.

From 'Kosovo Special', a CD-ROM recording the British Army's key role in Operation Allied Force, Kosovo, 1999 (c).
