Tony Blair meets senior Army commanders, 1999
Digital photograph, Kosovo (1999).
Prime Minister Tony Blair was the political driving force behind the North Atlantic Treaty Oranisation's (NATO) campaign that ousted Serbian forces from Kosovo and established a United Nations protectorate over the territory. He is pictured here meeting senior British Army officers, including Lieutenant-General Sir Mike Jackson, commander of KFOR, NATO's peace-implementation force.
