Postcard sent to the mother of Sergeant Stanley Adams, 1st Battalion The Royal Inniskilling Fusiliers, from Langensalza prison camp, 19 April 1918
The postcard confirms that he is a prisoner of war at Langensalza in Thuringia, Germany. Originally opened in 1914, at its height in 1918 this camp held around 10,000 prisoners from the British Empire, France, America, Russia, Serbia, Italy, Belgium, Portugal and Romania.
