The war against Iraq saw the largest single deployment of British troops since the Second World War. The British Army's contribution to the international coalition force was based upon 1st Armoured Division. Altogether about 35,000 British servicemen and women served in the campaign.
From a group of six photographs, collected by Gunner Wayne E Chatterton, Royal Artillery, 1990-1995 (c). Chatterton served with the 32nd Regiment, Royal Artillery, in Germany, during the Gulf War and in the UK.
