US water-repellent sleeping bag cover used in Korea, 1950-1951

Made by Palm Beach Upholstery and Mattress Company, USA.

American equipment was abundant during the first winter of the Korean War (1959-1953). This sleeping bag cover was water repellent and provided further protection for its owner Lieutenant (later Colonel) Leslie Sharpe of the Middlesex Regiment (Duke of Cambridge's Own).
