Stables of The Buffs (East Kent) Regiment, 1914
Photograph, World War One (1914-1918), 1914.
Without horses, the British Army could not have functioned during the war. They were vital for the cavalry, but also needed for moving supplies, equipment, guns and ammunition, and for transporting the wounded to hospital.
From a group of 59 postcards possibly associated with 2/5th Bn The Buffs (East Kent Regiment) transport, 1914-1918.
