Cap badge of the Royal Army Medical Corps, 1953 (c)

The Royal Army Medical Corps' badge depicts the rod and serpent of Asclepius, the Greek god of medicine, flanked by laurel wreaths and surmounted by a crown. Below this is a motto scroll reading 'In arduis fidelis' (Faithful in difficulties).
