An officer of The Buffs (East Kent Regiment), 1845 (c)
Oil on board, artist unknown, 1845 (c).
An officer holding his Albert shako with red and white ball tuft by his hip, the thumb of his left hand tucked in his shoulder belt which has regimental badge attached. His double breasted red tunic has a high stand collar with gold lace, with a pair of gold box epaulettes. He wears a crimson sash and sword with gold sword knot.
