Staff Sergeant Hogarth, a kettledrummer of the Royal Scots Dragoon Guards, on 'Ramillies', the regimental drum horse. 'Ramillies', nicknamed 'Rambo', was a gift from Queen Elizabeth II, the regiment's Colonel-in-Chief. He retired in 2001.
This statuette was the winner of the National Army Museum Prize at the Armed Forces Art Society Exhibition in 2001. The Society was formed in 1925 as The Army Officers' Art Society.
