Postcard sent by Private Charlie Cole, 1918
Private Charlie Cole served with the 7th Battalion, The Buffs (East Kent) Regiment) during World War One (1914-1918).
In 1918 he became a prisoner of war, and was incarcerated at Stendal in Germany. He died there as a prisoner on 17 September 1918.
In this postcard he writes how much he misses his wife and children and is looking forward to seeing them.
