Army Form B2067 Character Certificate, 24 April 1918
Rifleman Frank Stupple of 9th Battalion The London Regiment (Queen Victoria's Rifles) was discharged in April 1918 as he was longer physically fit for war service. Stupple, who had enlisted in May 1915 and fought at Gommecourt on the Somme in 1916, was shot in the arm in 1917. He was discharged with 'very good character' and described as 'steady and well-conducted'.
