Cap badge, other ranks, The Royal Irish Rangers, 1970 (c)

This regiment's badge consists of an Irish harp surmounted by a crown, with a scroll below inscribed with the unit title. The harp and crown represent the Order of St. Patrick, which was founded by King George III in 1783.
