Cap badge, other ranks, Worcestershire and Sherwood Foresters Regiment (29th and 45th Foot), 1970 (c)

In 1970 the Sherwood Foresters (Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire Regiment) were amalgamated with the Worcestershire Regiment to form the Worcestershire and Sherwood Foresters Regiment (29th and 45th Foot). The regiment primarily recruited in Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire and Worcestershire and existed until 2007 when it became part of the Mercian Regiment.
