7.62 mm Chinese type 56-2 (AKM) assault rifle

This Pattern 1956 7.62 mm assault rifle was manufactured by State Factory No 66, in China during 1975. It was used by Iraqi forces and has a thin webbing strap of local manufacture. Along with the Russians the Chinese supplied a great deal of equipment and weaponry to Iraq.
