This badge was collected by David John Miles who volunteered as a reservist with 4th Armoured Brigade. He worked as a photographer in Kosovo during 1999.
The brigade's nickname is 'The Black Rats'. The 'desert rat' is the famous emblem of its parent formation, the 7th Armoured Division.
