Medal commemorating Queen Elizabeth II's Golden Jubilee 2002

This commercial medal was produced to mark the 50th anniversary of the accession to the throne of Queen Elizabeth II. The Golden Jubilee parade down the Mall on 4 June 2002 included The Service Procession, floats, vehicles and uniforms celebrating the armed forces' history. Earlier that day military massed bands greeted The Queen and Duke of Edinburgh as they left Buckingham Palace in the Gold State Coach for a ceremonial procession to St Paul's Cathedral.
