The Egyptian Camel Transport Corps, were established in 1914. During World War One they carried essential supplies to troops serving in the deserts of Egypt and Palestine.

From a collection of photographs taken by Corporal Joseph Egerton, Shropshire Yeomanry in Sinai and Palestine.
