Royal United Services Institute Duke of Westminster Medal for Military Literature, 2004

Silver prize medal with a figure of Athena, Greek goddess of war and wisdom, holding a spear and a statue of WInged Victory, on the obverse. On the reverse, the badge of the Royal United Services Institute for Defence Studies and the arms of the Duke of Westminster within a wreath.

The medal was presented to the National Army Museum and the publishers Pan Macmillan in recognition of the contribution made by three publications: 'The National Army Museum Book of the Turkish Front 1914-1918', by Field Marshal Lord Carver; 'The National Army Museum of the Zulu War', by Ian Knight; 'The National Army Museum Book of Wellington's Armies', by Andrew Uffindell.
