Lance-Corporal Alfred John Wilce, his wife Edith Lucy and their daughter Ruth, 1916

Wilce served with 1st (Home Service) Garrison Battalion, The Dorsetshire Regiment. This was formed at Wykes Regis in June 1916 and after being stationed at Weymouth and Portland was disbanded in January 1917.
