Waterman proficiency badge, Royal Army Service Corps Fleet

The Royal Army Service Corps (RASC) was responsible for Army water transport on rivers, canals and the coast. Its vessels were used to move troops, supplies, equipment and the post. The RASC fleet included motor boats, steamers, barges and tankers.
