Facsimile letter signed by King George V that accompanied the bronze commemorative plaque issued to bereaved families, 1922

This was sent to Ethel Ottley, the widow of Percy Ottley of 1st/14th (County of London) Battalion, The London Regiment (London Scottish), who was killed in action at Bourlon Wood on 23 November 1917 during the Battle of Cambrai.
