Soldiers of 1st Battalion Cheshire Regiment take on water during a patrol around the Local Government Headquarters Building in Basra. Iraq, June 2004

Digital photograph taken by WO2 Giles Penfound, Army Media Operations, Operation TELIC, 30 June 2004.

Heat is a major problem in countries like Iraq and Afghanistan and it is important for soldiers to constantly take on water to maintain their health and operational effectiveness. These soldiers, on patrol, are drinking from personal 'Camelbak' water reservoirs.
