Enhanced Combat Body Armour (ECBA) used by Captain Chris Carling, Royal Electrical and Mechanical Engineers, Iraq, 2006 (c)

During Operation TELIC 9 this body armour was worn by Captain Chris Carling. While based in a contingency operating base just outside Basra he wrote 'we have incoming [rockets] every day. The only up side is that I get to lay down a lot, the down side is that I have my body Armour and helmet on.'
