The Entertainments National Service Association (ENSA) was established in 1939 to provide entertainment for military personnel. ENSA operated as part of the Navy, Army and Air Force Institutes (NAAFI). Here ENSA's Lorna Dean of Welwyn Garden City does her washing up after her mobile group's concert behind the lines.
