Rajinder Singh Dhatt, Royal Indian Army Service Corps Physical Training Instructor, 1941

Born on 21 October 1921 in the Punjab, India, Rajinder Singh Dhatt joined the Indian Army in February 1941 as a sepoy (private). He left the newly-independent Indian Army in late 1949 with the rank of havildar-major. Rajinder Singh Dhatt served as a Physical Training Instructor from 1942 to 1943 and Army Store Keeper from 1943 to 1949. This included a period on the Kohima Front in Burma during 1944.
