Cap badge, 15th/19th Hussars, 1922 (c)

This regiment was formed in 1922 by merging the 15th King's Hussars with the 19th Royal Hussars (Queen Alexandra's Own). The regiment's badge includes the motto of the 15th Hussars 'Merebimur' which meant 'We Shall Be Worthy'. The badge also includes the motto of the Order of the Garter 'Honi soit qui mal y pense' (Shame on him who thinks evil of it).
