Cap badge, The Royal Regiment of Wales, 1969 (c)

The Royal Regiment of Wales (24th/41st Foot) was formed in June 1969 by amalgamating the South Wales Borderers and the Welch Regiment. Its badge depicts the Prince of Wales's plume and coronet above his motto 'Ich Dien' (I serve).
