Hand-held wire saw, 1990 (c)
This wire saw is fitted with key rings at the ends as handles. The saw takes up minimal space, but it can be used to cut branches or trees and will even cut through metal. It is from a personal survival kit belonging to Sergeant 'Andy McNab', DCM, MM. McNab commanded an eight-man Special Air Service (SAS) team under the call sign 'Bravo Two Zero' during the Gulf War (1990-91).
