Over 100,000 Japanese prisoners captured in Malaya and Singapore were sent to Rampang Island as they could not be accommodated elsewhere. Rempang is about 25 miles south-west of Singapore.
From a collection of 185 photographs of Japanese, Chinese, Indian, British, German and American soldiers, aircraft and ships at sea.
