Letter from Sergeant Robert Black, 10th Battalion The Black Watch (Royal Highlanders), to his brother to Eddie Black, 19 March 1917
Sent from Salonika, the letter states that he realises he hasn't written in a long time and that he cannot elaborate on events because of censors. Black mentions that he has spent a few weeks in hospital but is now feeling better. He is also glad that the weather is warmer, especially after the recent snow, and is hoping for 'the beginning of the end' after the news from the French front.
