'He Talked. They Died', 1943

Lithograph poster designed by Abram Games, printed by Henry Hildesley Limited, 1943.

Games designed three designs in this series, but he wrote to a friend, 'The blighters rejected a group of my new security posters - the whole lot. I was so wild and upset I told my chief I would rather chuck the job than amuse myself if it was not really wanted.' Eventually, one of them was printed.

From a collection of 45 posters from World War Two (1939-1945).
