Olympic Games mascot 'Wenlock' in a Foot Guards uniform, 2012

Produced as a souvenir of the Olympics, this toy also symbolised the Army's contribution to delivering a safe and secure games. Thousands of soldiers were deployed at London 2012 after the security company G4S failed to provide adequate staffing.
