Multi-terrain pattern patch with Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) and Search Task Force and International Security Assistance Force (ISAF) badges, 2011
These badges were worn by Chief Petty Officer Kevin Amaira, Royal Navy, who was responsible for training Afghan troops to locate and render Improvised Explosive Devices (IEDs) safe. By setting up training tasks and scenarios, he helped Afghan EOD teams develop their ability to identify wider threats such as multiple devices and ambushes.
