Medical teams training in a simulated environment replicating Camp Bastion Field Hospital in Helmand Province, Afghanistan, during an Army Medical Training Course at Queen Elizabeth Barracks, Strensall Camp, North Yorkshire, November 2012.

The training represented in this watercolour was scenario based and patients are taken through the relevant stages of treatment as appropriate. The perspective is from a balcony overlooking the internal hospital floor layout, which is used by observers and instructors to supervise proceedings.
