Pair of warm weather combat gloves, 2011 (c)

These gloves, in service since November 2011, have been issued to soldiers deployed on operations in Afghanistan (2001- ). Issued to all troops in theatre, they protect against the rough terrain of Afghanistan and can absorb sweat caused by temperatures exceeding 50 degrees Celsius.
