Troops from The Royal Highland Fusiliers (2 SCOTS), 2nd Battalion Royal Regiment of Scotland patrol close towards an Afghan settlement. To combat the threat of Improvised Explosive Devices (IED) the soldiers carry Vallon mine detectors and a ladder for scaling compound walls and crossing irrigation ditches.
