105 Military Working Dog Squadron, 1st Military Working Dog Regiment, training in Jordan, 2016

In early 2016 personnel from 105 Military Working Dog Squadron travelled from their base at Sennelager in Germany to Jordan to participate in Exercise SHAMAL STORM. 35 working dogs were included in the party that travelled to Jordan. The primary objective of the exercise was to prepare soldiers and animals for deployment anywhere in the world and in any environment.
Personal protective equipment (PPE) for military working dogs includes protective boots, goggles and ear defenders.
