Dismounted mechanised infantry from The Princess of Wales's Royal Regiment (Queen's and Royal Hampshires) training in urban warfare at the Sennelager Training Area, in Germany. BRIGHT GAUNTLET, a validation exercise, was designed to test the readiness of 20th Armoured Infantry Brigade to take on the role of Vanguard Armoured Infantry Brigade (VAIB), the UK's primary reaction force.
