British Army medics work with Kenyan Army personnel to assist villagers during Exercise ASKARI SERPENT, 2016

The annual Exercise ASKARI SERPENT is a humanitarian initiative run by the British Army in co-operation with the Kenyan Ministry of Health and the Kenyan Defence Force.
Personnel from 2 Medical Regiment along with reservists work alongside members of Kenya's own Defence Medical Service to deliver treatment to Kenyan civilians at multiple Health Outreach Clinics set up over a six week period. The medical personnel were assisted by support units including personnel from 12 Royal Electrical and Mechanical Engineers.
