British and German engineers take part in Exercise ANAKONDA, 2016

Across Poland more than 30,000 soldiers from 24 participating nations deployed on Exercise ANAKONDA, a Polish led joint multinational exercise. Included in this number, and based in the Chelmno area, were sappers from 23 Amphibious Engineer Troop, Royal Engineers, and their Bundeswehr colleagues from Pionierbattalion 130, with whom they share a base in Minden, Germany.
