Tactical recognition flash, British Peace Support Team for East Africa (BPSTEA), 2018 (c)
Red square woven patch with right facing rhinoceros head at centre.
BPSTEA is based in Nairobi, Kenya, and co-ordinates and delivers peace support training to African soldiers who are preparing to deploy on United Nations missions. It focuses on 'training the trainer', so these soldiers can go back and cascade knowledge to their own units. The support team has also assisted many organisations including the Kenyan Peace Support Training Centre and the International Mine Action Training Centre.
