Formation badge, 1st Reconnaissance Brigade, 1997-2006 (c)

The 1st Reconnaissance Brigade was formed in 1997 to be part of the North Atlantic Treaty Organisation's (NATO) Allied Rapid Reaction Corps (ARRC). The fox mask depicted on the badge was considered appropriate for symbolising the reconnaissance role of the unit. The unit was disbanded in 2005/2006.
