Helmet, Iraqi Forces, 2017

This helmet was found by members of the Force Protection Platoon from 2 Mercian Battle Group in the military training camp in Besmaya, Iraq, when they were clearing a lesson area, in 2017.

The military training camp in Besmaya had remnants of previous training and fighting, including benign items such as this helmet and more dangerous objects such as unexploded ordnance.
