Bonnet badge, Royal Regiment of Scotland, 2019 (c)

Bi-metal badge on brass backing plate, with lion rampant on a saltire Cross of St Andrew, surmounted by the Crown of Scotland, with a scroll below with the Latin inscription, 'Nemo Me Impune Lacessit' (No One Attacks Me With Impunity), the motto of the Order of the Thistle; with three split pin fixings on the reverse.

The Royal Regiment of Scotland was formed in 2006 by the amalgamation of the Royal Scots (The Royal Regiment), the Royal Highland Fusiliers, the King's Own Scottish Borderers, the Black Watch, the Highlanders (Seaforths, Gordons and Camerons) and the Argyll and Sutherland Highlanders.
