Parachute canopy, 1945 (c)

This canopy is made of olive green silk and was used by Captain R G Miller, 60 Indian Airborne Field Ambulance, when he dropped on Changi airfield at Singapore on 30 August 1945. Miller was a member of the Repatriation of Allied Prisoners of War and Internees team. Changi was a notorious Japanese prisoner of war camp.
