Presented to the 139th (4th London) Field Regiment by Colonel W J Lindsay Forbes of the 91st (4th London) Field Regiment, Royal Artillery, in memory of those who fell at Dunkirk, 1940.

The 139th Field Regiment, was a 'duplicate' of the 91st Field Regiment, created on the doubling of the size of the Territorial Army on the outbreak of World War Two (1939-1945).
