German 13 mm bolt action anti-tank Mauser rifle, 1918

Known as the Mauser Tankgewehr M1918, this weapon was the world's first anti-tank rifle. It had an effective range of around 500 metres and could penetrate 22 mm of armour plate at 100 metres. This example was captured by troops from 4th Battalion The Middlesex Regiment at Biticourt near Bapaum in 1918.
