3rd County of London Yeomanry, 'Ready to move from Worthing to the final concentration area', Operation OVERLORD, 1944

Prior to D-Day, Sherman tanks of 3rd County of London Yeomanry in a residential street in Worthing in Sussex. The crew of the front tank have waterproofed their vehicle. They are (left to right), Trooper Dawson, Trooper Walduck, Corporal Harrison and Lance-Corporal Brown. The regiment was stationed in Worthing from February 1944 until it was sent to Portsmouth on 4 June for embarkation to Normandy.
