Camels, Helmand, 2006

An Afghan civilian leads baggage camels past a British Army Land Rover fitted with the Weapons Mounted Installation Kit (WMIK).

Matthew Cook recorded this scene in Lashkar Gah in the early and, in hindsight, quietest days of the NATO presence in Afghanistan.
