M.E.R.T (Medical Emergency Response Team) training, 2012

M.E.R.T. training in a simulator replicating the interior of a helicopter during an Army Medical Training Course at Strensall Camp, Towthorpe Lines, Strensall, York. Three patients are carried on stretchers into the simulator. Once inside the doors close and 'engines' start up accompanied by heat, noise and wind, and the teams enact what would happen in terms of medical care, instructions and diagnosis.
