Multi-terrain pattern (MTP) small rucksack cover, 2009

This cover is one of the items in 'The Black Bag' holdall of clothing and equipment that is issued to soldiers deployed on operations in Afghanistan.

MTP camouflage is designed to blend with the range of environments in Afghanistan and was developed after extensive laboratory tests and field evaluations, which included aerial and scientific photography to provide the right colours and brightness for the new pattern.
